U.S.-China Round Table Discussion

International Visitor Leadership Program

On October 1, in collaboration with the Association of Art Museum Directors and the U.S. Department of State, the AFA is hosting a round table discussion on museum management with representatives of leading Chinese museums. Delegates are coming together as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program—the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program—to foster a greater understanding of the institutional practices and structures in place in each country. Participating museums include the Guangdong Museum, the Today Art Museum, the Guangzhou Museum, the Nanjing Museum, the Guangdong Provincial Overseas Museum, the Museum of the Grottoes of the Giant Buddha Temple, the Capital Museum, the Anhui Museum, the InsideOut Art Museum, the Dalian Modern Museum, and the Guangxi Museum.
