Contextualizing Judy Chicago’s art practice within movements from whose histories she has often been underrepresented, this exhibition features 60 years of her revolutionary feminist art. Presented alongside Chicago’s works within the three-floor exhibit is an installation entitled The City of Ladies which includes artwork and archival materials from over 80 women artists such as Simone de Beauvoir and Frida Kahlo.
