The AFA is pleased to invite members to this intimate artist-led tour of Jorge Palacios, Paradoxes of Cognitive Constructs: Physics as Language before its closing! Wine will be served.
Join renowned Spanish sculptor Jorge Palacios as he guides guests through his latest works that explore how mental or physical constructions can be formed out of abstract ideas, allowing us to process information and question the world around us. His sculptures, which can appear simultaneously rigid and fluid, challenge viewers’ perceptions by playing with the principles of physics and creating “visual paradoxes.” Drawing inspiration from scientists, inventors, and artists alike, Palacios’ latest exhibition brings together his decades-long theoretical investigation and powerful conceptualization.
