Join us on May 29 at 11 AM ET for an engaging virtual program exploring the artistry and innovation of Rembrandt’s printmaking. This special event features a conversation between Epco Runia, Head of Collections at the Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam, and Dr. Anke Van Wagenberg, Senior Curator & Head of International Collaborations at the American Federation of Arts.
Together, they’ll discuss the exhibition Rembrandt: Masterpieces in Black and White—Prints from the Rembrandt House Museum, which highlights Rembrandt’s technical brilliance and enduring influence in the world of printmaking.
The conversation will be accompanied by slides and a short film demonstrating how etchings are made, offering a rare glimpse into the processes behind these iconic works. The program will conclude with a 10-minute Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and join the conversation.
